Description
Spazmotek Plus contains N-butylbromide of hyoscine and paracetamol.
Hyoscine N-butylbromide has anti-muscarinic effect. It has peripheral and parasympatolytic anticholinergic actions as it has ganglion-blocking effect on the smooth muscles of internal organs, and inhibiting the muscarinic effect of acetylcholine. Due to these basic characteristics, it has a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the gallbladder tract, organs of the urogenital system and gastrointestinal tract.
The analgesic effect of paracetamol adds to the analgesic effect that results from the antispasmodic effect, combining antispasmodic and analgesic effects.
This effective combination is valuable in treating paroxysmal smooth muscle pain.
