Cardiopirin 100 mg (acid acetylsalicylic)Box x 30 tablets

Cardiopirin contains acetylsalicylic acid and has anti-thrombotic effect (inhibits platelet aggregation), thus reducing the appearance of blood clots.
Cardiopirin is formulated as a resistant gastrointestinal tablet, unlike the usual tablets which are digested in the stomach, is distributed in the intestine.
Cardiopirin is therefore less irritating to the gastric mucosa than regular tablets.
Cardiopirin is used to:
-reduce the risk of recurrence of heart attack;
-reduce the risk of recurrence of thrombosis after vascular surgery;
-prevent recurrence of ischemias and strokes.
Do not use Cardiopirin if:
-you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or to any of the other ingredients present in this formulation.
-you are allergic to other salicylates or other analgesic and anti-rheumatic substances.
-you suffer from gastric and intestinal ulcers.
-you tend to bleed, decrease in blood platelet count, hemophilia.
-you have liver damage.
-suffer from heart failure.
-you are under 12 years old.
-you are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingIf you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Cardiopirin can affect the mother during pregnancy or fetal development.
In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, Cardiopirin should not be used unless absolutely necessary.
If used during the first and second trimester, the dose should be as low as possible and the duration as short as possible.
Use during the last trimester of pregnancy can cause abnormalities and dysfunction in some organs, so it should not be used.
Because acetylsalicylic acid is excreted in breast milk, Cardipirin will only be used during breast-feeding when absolutely necessary and when prescribed by your doctor.
Possible side effects:
heartburn, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, intestinal bleeding.
