Cetirizina ABC 10 mg (cetirizine)

Cetirizine ABC is a drug based on the active ingredient Cetirizine Dihydrochloride, belonging to the category of antihistamine antiallergics and specifically piperazine derivatives.
Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg tablets are indicated in adults and pediatric patients from 6 years of age:
-for the treatment of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis;
-for the symptomatic treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Contraindications:
-Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to any of the excipients, to hydroxyzine or to any derivative of piperazine.
-Patients with severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min.
Due to the pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and tolerability profile of cetirizine, no interactions are expected with this antihistamine.
In fact, no interactions were reported in drug-drug interaction studies.
Pregnancy and breast feedingPlease ask your doctor for advice before taking any medicine.
As with other drugs, the use of Cetirizin should be avoided during pregnancy.
Incidental use of the drug by a pregnant woman does not cause any harmful effects on the foetus, but the taking of the drug should be discontinued anyhow.
If you are breast-feeding, do not take Cetirizina ABC because cetirizine passes into breast milk.
