Cicloviral cream is an OTC medicine containing acyclovir as its active substance.
It is an antiviral drug, indicated for the treatment of cold sores resulting from Herpes Simplex virus type 1 infection.
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to acyclovir or another component of this medicine.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingIf you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.
Possible side effects:
– temporary burning sensation after application;
– redness and dryness of the skin;
– erythema;
– itching;
– contact dermatitis.
This is an OTC medicine, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Use in adults and children over 12 years of age:
1.
Wash your hands before applying cycloviral cream.
2.
Apply the cream with your finger, covering the infected area completely.
3.
Apply the cream to the infected area 5 times a day (every 4 hours).
4.
It is not necessary to apply the cream at night.
5.
Continue the treatment for 4 days.
If there is no improvement, the treatment can be continued for another 6 days.
If after 10 days complete recovery has not occurred consult with your doctor.
6.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
For use in children from 2-12 years, consult your doctor.
