Denk Clotri-Denk 1% 219 L
Description
Clotri-Denk 1% cream is a pharmaceutical agent for the treatment of fungal disease of the skin and mucous membrane, caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, moulds and other fungi such as Malassezia furfur and skin infections caused by Corynebacterium minutissimum.
These may occur, for examle, in the form of:
-foot mycoses (athele’s foot), between the toes and fingers, at the base of the nail, also in combination with nail mycoses;
-skin diseases which are superinfected with clotrimazole-sensitive pathogens;
-mycoses of the skin and skin folds;
-superficial candidiasis;
-pityriasis versicolor;
-infections with Corynebacterium minutissimum;
-seborrheic dermatitis only with microbial involvement or other pathogens;
-infections of the labia and adjoining areas caused by yeasts;
-inflammations of the male glands and foreskin by yeast-type fungi.
Clotrimazole, the active ingredient in Clotri-Denk 1% Cream, penetrates the affected skin and attacks the fungus.
This results in fungal death or growth inhibition.
Do not use Clotri-Denk 1% Cream if you are allergic to clotrimazole, cetylstearyl alcohol or any of the other ingredients of Clotri-Denk 1% Cream.
No interections with other medicines have been reported so far.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding – Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Pregnancy – if you use this cream as prescribed in the dosage instructions or as recommended by your doctor of pharmacist, the active ingredient clotrimazole is only absorbed by the body in very small quantities.
A systemic effect can therefore be excluded.
As a precaution clotrimazole may be used during pregnancy, if applied to the vagina, after appropriate consideration of the benefits and risks by the doctor in attendance.
Breastfeeding – Because of the low level of absorption if used on the skin or mucous membranes, breast-feeding probably involves no risk to the infant.
During lactation, Clotri-Denk 1% Cream should not be applied directly to the breast producing milk.
Driving and using machines – No particular precautionary measures are necessary.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Clotri-Denk 1% Cream:

No reports of overdose have been received.
