What is retinol?Retinol is a form of vitamin A with many uses in skin care.
Retinol works on the skin by increasing the production (proliferation) of skin cells and stimulating collagen production.
This helps reduce fine lines &
wrinkles and diminish dark spots.
It also works to unclog pores, reducing the formation of blackheads and acne.
Retinol has an exfoliating effect, removing dead cells on the surface of the skin, which improves the texture of the skin, and gives it a fresher appearance.
*It takes several weeks to notice the positive effects of retinol.
At the beginning of the treatment, effects such as redness, burning, itching and skin irritation may appear, which gradually fades over time.
For this reason, it is recommended to start with application every 3 days in the first weeks, to then gradually switch to nightly use.
