Description

Otipax is used for the local treatment of some painful conditions of the middle ear with intact drum:
– acute congestive otitis media;
– influenza otitis, called and viral fliktenular otitis;
– barotraumatic otitis.
Do not use Otipax, earwax:
– if you have cracks in the eardrum of infectious or traumatic origin;
– if you are hypersensitive to lidocaine or phenazone or to any of the other ingredients present in the formulation.
Be careful when using Otipax if:
– The ear drum is open, as this herb can cause side effects in the middle ear.
The treatment should not last more than 10 days.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Under normal circumstances Otipax can be used during pregnancy and lactation if necessary and if your doctor or pharmacist deems it appropriate.
Otipax contains an active ingredient that can cause a positive result in anti-doping tests.
Among the side effects that may appear we mention local reactions such as:
allergies, redness of the external auditory canal.
Once opened, the bottle should be used within 30 days.

Usage

The recommended dose is 4 drops, 2-3 times a day, in the external auditory canal, of the aching ear.
Follow these steps:
- Unscrew the bottle cap.
- Remove the dropper from the blister.
- Screw the dropper into the bottle.
- Remove the dropper cap.
- Turn the bottle upside down and lightly press the dropper to draw a point.
- Press further until it releases 4 dots.
- Place the lid on the dropper.
To avoid uncomfortable contact of the cold solution with the ear, warm the bottle between the hands before use.
