Description
Analgin contains metamizole sodium, with analgesic and antipyretic properties and weak anti-inflammatory effect.
Analgin also has a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the uterus, gallbladder and urinary tract.
Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase.
The central analgesic action is due to the inhibition of adenylate cyclase activity.

Sodium metamizole is rapidly and completely absorbed after oral use.
Maximum plasma concentration is reached after one hour.
Partially bound to plasma proteins.
This medicine is metabolized in the liver.
