Description
Rinerge is indicated for quick relief and prolonged congestion of the nasal mucosa and sinusesinfections associated with colds, rhinitis, sinusitis, fever hay and other upper respiratory allergies.
Rinerge is also indicated to reduce edema, facilitating visualization of the nasal and pharyngeal membranes before surgical and diagnostic procedures, as well as for the obstructed eustachian tube opening in patients with inflammation in the ears.
Do not use Rinerge:
– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to oxymetazoline or any other component of Rinerge,- if you have a known sensitivity to pharmacological effects of adrenergic substances,- in children under 6 years of age.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingConsult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Adequate studies are not available and controls on the use of Rinerge in women pregnant women, therefore it should not be used during pregnancy, unless the doctor considers its use essential.
Rinerge should not be used during breast-feeding unless when clearly needed.
Like all medicines, Rinerge can have side effects.
However these are not manifested in all people.
The incidence of serious undesirable effects in patients who receive therapeutic doses of Rinerge is low- Local effects, including:
sensation of transient burning, stinging, increased runny nose or dryness of the nasal mucosa and sneezing.
Avoid using Rinerge from a excessive and prolonged form can cause congestion of rebound (characterized by chronic redness, swelling and rhinitis).
– Systemic effects, including effects systemic sympathomimetics such as hypertension, nervousness, nausea, vertigo, headache, insomnia, palpitations or reflex bradycardia with an occurrence occasional.

Usage
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The usual dose is 2 or 3 sprays, in each nostril, two times a day (morning and evening), unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
In some cases of sinusitis, nebulization may be repeated after 10 to 15 minutes.
Do not use Rinerge in children under 6 years of age.
Rinerge should not be used for self-medication during more than 3 days.
If symptoms persist, discontinue treatment with Rinerge and consult your doctor.
To minimize the risk of spreading infections, do not share your nebulizer with others.
One nebulizer should not be used for more than one people.
