Rupan 400 mg (ibuprofen)

Rupan contains ibuprofen which belongs to a group of medicines called NSAID.
It changes the body reaction to pain, inflammation and fever.
It is indicated for relief of migraine, headaches, backache, dental pain, neuralgia, rheumatic and muscular pain.
Rupan relieves and reduces inflammation and fever.
Do not take Rupan if you:
– are allergic to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, other NSAIDs or any of the other ingredients of this formulation;
– have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding;
– have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation when previosly taking NSAIDs;
– are taking other NSAIDs;
– are taking more than 75 mg aspirin per day;
– had a worsening of asthma, itchy runny nose, skin rash or facial swelling when previosly taking ubuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or similar medicines;
– have breathing difficulties;
– have severe liver or kidney disease;
– have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagulation disorder;
– are in the last 3 months of pregnancy;
– are under 12 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingIf you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant ask your doctor for advice before taking any medicine.
Do not take this medicine in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Avoid the use of this medicine in the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless the doctor advises otherwise.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
