Description

Calluses are skin thickenings which, if exposed to the stresses and pressures exerted during walking, and to rubbing with shoes for prolonged periods, can give rise to calluses.
Calluses are small in size, can extend deeply causing pain and tend to develop on the tops of the toes while corns, on the other hand, do not cause pain and develop over larger areas and form on the soles of the feet.
Corn plasters from Scholl contain salicylic acid, and are intended to treat and eliminate calluses.
