Terbinafine is a substance with anti-fungal activity.
Indications:
– Tinea pedis- Tinea corporis- Tinea cruris- Skin candidiasis- Pityriasis versicolorContraindications:
– Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or to any of the other ingredients present in the formulation.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingTerbonile cream should not be used during pregnancy as there are no studies conducted in pregnant women.
Despite the fact that the amount of terbinafine eliminated in breast milk is very small, it is not recommended to use it during breastfeeding.
Unwanted effectsIn some cases, redness, burning and stinging sensation may appear at the site of application.
This becomes the reason for stopping the treatment.
This is an OTC medicine, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Terbonile cream is recommended for external use only.
If the doctor does not prescribe otherwise, it can be used up to 2 times a day.
Clean and pat dry the affected area of the skin.
Apply the cream to the affected area and the surrounding area.
In case of intertriginous infections after application (especially at night) the cream layer is covered with gauze.
Possible duration of the treatment:
- Tinea corporis, cruris - 1 week.
- Tinea Pedis - 1 week.
- Cutaneous candidiasis - 1 week.
- Pityriasis versicolor - 2 weeks.
