You can make sure your little ones learn everything about brushing their teeth through these tips<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 24px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Babies 0-2 years old:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Since your toddlers are too young to take care of themselves, you are the ones who should take the best care of their oral hygiene.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Wrap your index finger with a clean gauze and clean the inside and outside of the gums after each meal.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Make sure your baby is eating healthy. Avoid juices and foods with added sugar.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Do not use fluoride paste for your little ones under the age of 2.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Schedule at least one appointment with the dentist before your baby turns 1 year old.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After the 12th month, it is advisable to consume juices, not in pacifier bottles but in training cups.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/><strong>Oral hygiene in <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>children 2-5 years: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 9px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After the age of 2, your toddlers are better able to understand and may therefore begin to take care of oral hygiene under your care. Keep these things in mind: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">They can start brushing their teeth on their own from the age of 2, but may need your help at least until the age of 5. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Teach children to use the right amount of fluoride toothpaste (as much as 1 pea). Never allow them to swallow toothpaste, even if it tastes like fruit. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Choose a brush with a small head, soft bristles and a tail that is easily held by children. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Teach children to brush their teeth first on the inside and then on the outside. Remember the crown of the teeth! However, here are some things to keep in mind.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-family: Courier New, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Regularly advise your children to clean their teeth twice a day and use dental floss.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Explain to them the importance of changing the toothbrush every 3 months.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Do not neglect visits to the dentist even if you do not see any problems or even if your child does not complain of pain.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Be careful with your children&#8217;s diet. Avoid excess sugar and keep away from chewing gum consumption.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Courier New, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Be careful in selecting dental hygiene products.
