\nThere is no data on the use of sodium bicarbonate during pregnancy, so it should not be used, as it is thought that it may worsen the bloating that occurs during pregnancy.
\nSodium bicarbonate can be used during breastfeeding.
\nPossible side effects:
\n– allergic and anaphylactic reactions such as urticaria or bronchospasm;
\n– abdominal pain, vomiting, bloating, stomach lesions;
\n– metabolic alkalosis, especially in patients suffering from renal insufficiency;
\n– increase in sodium levels in the blood;
