Argedin cream contains as active ingredient silver sulfadiazine, a sulfonamide antibiotic for topical use.
\nIt is used for the treatment of superficial wounds, newly created wounds with a tendency to create infection.
\nIt is suitable for use in burns, lacerations and mild chemical burns.
\nDo not use Argedin cream if you have:
\n– hypersensitivity to silver sulfadiazine or any of the other ingredients present in the formulation;
\n– exudative erythema multiforme;
\n– changes in the blood formula with leukopenia;
\n– congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase in erythrocytes;
\n– abnormalities in hemoglobin;
\n– severe deterioration of kidney function;
\n– severe damage to the liver and its functions;
\n– acute porphyria.
\nArgedin can be used during pregnancy only in cases where your doctor decides that it is strictly necessary, after the risk-benefit assessment, especially during the first trimester of pregnancy.
\nThe application of Argedin cream should be done with special care during breastfeeding, in specific cases when advised by your doctor, as it passes into breast milk and can be problematic for the child.
