Description

Monacolins  , produced by the fermentation of rice ( Oryza sativa ) by the yeast  Monascus purpureus , contribute to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
Bergamot   is a typical Calabrian citrus fruit rich in flavonoids, some of which have a structure similar to statins:
it is precisely to these that its contrasting action on plasma cholesterol levels could be ascribed .
Policosanols are aliphatic alcohols that appear to  have excellent results on the lipid profile.
Amla  ( Phyllanthus emblica  L.
), is a typical fruit of the thousand-year-old tradition of Ayurveda medicine, which has proven capable of reducing various cardiovascular risk factors (including cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar).
Opuntia (Prickly Pear) limits the absorption of nutrients:
this cactus is rich in opuntiamannan, a polysaccharide capable of binding to ingested fats (including cholesterol), therefore making them non-absorbable.
Artichoke promotes lipid metabolism and stimulates the expulsion of bile salts (rich in cholesterol) from the body.
Gamma Oryzanol is obtained from rice and has been approved for use in Japan since 1986 to combat hyperlipidemia.
Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that plays an important role in the electron transport chain.
Vitamin E has an antioxidant action.
Folic acid promotes the conversion of homocysteine into methionine.
