Helmintox belongs to the family of medicines called anthelmintics.
Anthelmintics are used in the treatment of worm infections.
Helmintox is used to treat pinworms (enterobiasis;
oxyuriasis).
Helmintox may also be used for other worm infections as determined by your doctor.
Helmintox works by paralyzing the worms.
They are then passed in the stool.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingDuring pregnancy, this medication will only be used when it is really needed.
If during treatment with pyrantel you find out that you are pregnant, consult your doctor immediately as only he can decide if the treatment should be continued or should be discontinued.
Avoid the use of helmintox during breastfeeding.
If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines (including medicines obtained without a prescription), tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Helmintox should not be used in patients who may be allergic to the active ingredient or excipients present in the formulation.
This is an OTC drug, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Precautions for use:
-oxyuriasis- it is recommended to follow a strict hygiene.
Daily cleaning of the anal region should be done, also you should clean the nails several times a day.
Children should have their nails cut very short, they should change the underwear and nightwear regularly.
All family members should be treated at the same time.
Helmintox can be consumed regardless of food and without any special schedule.
Dosage varies according to parasite type and weight / age.
