Naphazoline spray contains naphazoline nitrate as an active ingredient.
It is used for:
- symptomatic treatment of all forms of rhinitis and sinusitis,- treatment of middle ear inflammations,- nosebleeds;
- before rhinological examinations and surgical interventions.
Do not use Nafazolin if:
- you have hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this formulation;
- you suffer from narrow-angle glaucoma.
Naphazoline should be used with caution in:
- the elderly;
- patients with hypertension and/or other cardiovascular diseases;
- diabetics;
- patients with hyperthyroidism;
- patients with prostate hypertrophy.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingAvoid the use of naphazoline during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Possible side effects:
- temporary irritation of the mucous membrane;
- pain;
- burning sensation;
- repeated congestion;
- sneeze;
- feeling of dryness of the mucous membrane.
