Rapidol S 400 mg (ibuprofen)

Rapidol S contains ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammaory drug with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.
Rapidol S is indicated for use in:
-osteoarthritis;
-rheumatoid arthritis;
-ankylosing spondylitis (hardening and inflammation of the vertebrae of the spine);
-inflammation (swelling) of the joints;
-tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons);
-tendosinovitis (inflammation of the tendon lining);
-pain of the lower back;
-muscle contraction.
Rapidol S can be used to treat other conditions such as:
-toothache;
-pain after surgical procedures;
-menstrual cycle pain;
-headaches including migraine.
Do not use Rapidol S:
-If you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients in this formulation.
-If you have or have previously had a stomach ulcer or other gastric problems.
-If you suffer from asthma or if you have had an allergic or asthmatic reaction after using ibuprofen, aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
-If you suffer from severe liver, kidney or heart disease.
-During the last trimester of pregnancy.
PregnancyThe use of ibuprofen is not recommended during pregnancy, unless your doctor considers it necessary.
Given the known side effects of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) on the fetal cardiovascular system, ibuprofen should not be used during the last trimester of pregnancy.
BreastfeedingIn the limited studies available so far, it has been observed that ibuprofen is found in very small concentrations in breast milk.
However, the use of this herb should be avoided during breastfeeding.
