Description

Herbal medicine for the soothing cough in:
-catarrhs of the respiratory tract;
-colds, infections and inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa.
Do not use Tussavit cough syrup if:
– you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this formulation or to any of the other members of the mint family that Tussavit contains.
Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended because of the alcohol content.
Consult a dcotor in the event of breathlessness, fever or purulent expectoration.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingAlways consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
As there is insufficient data, the use of Tussavit syrup is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Like all medicines, Tussavit cough syrup can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If any of the side effects gets serious or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Hypersensitivity reactions including one case of anaphylactic shock and one case of Quincke edema, and stomach disorders have been observed.
The frequency it is not known.
This is an OTC medicine, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Always take Tussavit cough syrup as described on the package leaflet or as recommended by your doctor.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take 2 x 10 ml of syrup, almost 6 times a day (approximately every 4 hours).
Children 4 to 12 years old should take 10 ml of syrup, 3-5 times a day.
Children 2 to 4 years old should take 5 ml of syrup, 3-5 times a day.
Use within 6 months of opening the syrup.
