Stomacuran Suspension 40%

Stomakuran contains as active ingredient sulfanilamide, a substance with antibacterial properties, effective against gram negative bacteria.
Stomakuran is used for the treatment of oral cavity lesions, especially in acute cases of follicular tonsillitis and streptococcus haemolyticus.
Do not use Stomakuran if:
– you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in the formulation;
– you have highly vascularized oral mucosa, especially when you have a fever or when you have just used sublingual nitroglycerin;
– you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Liquids and food is not recommended to be taken while coating the oral mucosa with Stomakuran, because in this way the sulfanilamide would be removed from the saliva and mucous membranes of the oral cavity.
Possible side effects:
– allergic reactions (acne, hives, swelling of the mouth, swelling of the face, swelling of the lips and swelling of the tongue).
– unusual itching.
– temperature.
