The mass of a tablespoon of senna leaves is scalded in water (the size of a normal glass).
The mixture is left until lukewarm and then drained and drunk sweetened with sugar as desired.
Usually tea is taken at dinner, before bedtime and the effects are noticeable the next day.
A tea at dinner is more than enough for a bowel movement adjustment.
In cases where the use of tea gives pain in the abdomen (gastrointestinal), it is recommended to reduce the dose in preparation and use.
